Our Golden Seniors’ Martial Arts Class is specifically designed to facilitate age appropriate training for adult students ages 45 and above. This class focuses on a traditional approach to Taekwondo and Hapkido, while largely eliminating most of the heavily ballistic movements, which can be dangerous to practice, as students get up higher in age. Our classes have been proven to help with balance, flexibility, better overall physical fitness, mental clarity, while giving a solid foundation of self-defense training. Many studies have shown, that regular exercise, especially in a martial arts training regimen, can greatly reduce many of the ailments that go along with the aging process such as: osteoporosis, early onset alzheimer’s disease, hypertension, loss of balance and muscular strength. Our classes are meant for everyone of all skill and fitness levels. We will teach and guide you toward better physical fitness, while helping you learn fun, interactive, and safe martial arts.
